What brought me to Frisco

My mom moved to Frisco in 1994 while I was finishing up college at Texas A&M. This community felt like home from the first time I came here 28 years ago.

The amazing work happening in Frisco ISD is what brought me here. I was inspired by the mission to know every student by name and need. The district has been such a supportive place to work and there is such a strong sense of family that keeps me here. I can’t imagine being in any other district! 

What I like most about my job

I enjoy working with the great people in this district. The collaboration among campuses and leaders at all levels is like no other place I have been. I love the clarity of purpose in our district and the strong commitment to our mission.

I was offered a teaching and coaching position at Centennial High School in 2004 which was the second year Centennial was open. My wife is also a teacher in Frisco ISD and joined Ashley Elementary in 2005. We have enjoyed being part of the of the Frisco ISD family and watching the District transform and grow.

I had heard about what an awesome school district Frisco ISD was and wanted my son to go to school in Frisco. I was lucky to get a job as a Technology Integration Facilitator for two elementary campuses. What has kept me in Frisco is the friendships that I have made throughout my time in FISD.
