Prekindergarten

Frisco ISD offers a full-day prekindergarten program at several designated elementary campuses across the District, including the Early Childhood School. The program is free and only for qualifying students at least 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the target school year. 

The focus of the prekindergarten program is to develop readiness skills for successful entry into kindergarten through:

• Oral language skills

• Prerequisite skills for emergent reading 

• Early math concepts

Access the prekindergarten curriculum and Texas standards. Bilingual prekindergarten programming is exclusively offered to Spanish-speaking students.
