2025-26 New Student Enrollment


Welcome to Frisco ISD! We’re excited to help your family get ready for the 2025–26 school year. Below is everything you need to know about enrollment, deadlines, required documents, and next steps.

Important Deadline: Proof of Residency

All elementary and secondary students must submit a valid Proof of Residency (POR) by May 23, 2025.

  • Submissions after this date may delay your student’s class assignment or schedule.

Attendance Zones

Frisco ISD serves students who reside within our attendance boundaries, including parts of Frisco, Plano, McKinney and Little Elm.

Enrollment Timeline

New K–12 Students (living in FISD boundaries)

  • Opens: February 11, 2025

New Prekindergarten Students

Access Frisco applicants offered a provisional seat are emailed directly with enrollment links and deadlines.

Required Enrollment Documents

To complete registration, the enrolling parent/guardian must provide:

If your child primarily speaks a language other than English at home, their campus will contact you to schedule an assessment for placement in a bilingual or English as a Second Language (ESL) program.

Online Registration Process

Step 1: Gather Your Documents

Step 2: Complete the Online Registration Form. Each child must be registered individually.

Step 3: Click “Create Account”. Enter your email address, name and phone number and create a password for your account. Remember your account's email address and password; you will use the same email and password in future years.

Step 4: Enter Student Information and upload required documents.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once submitted. Enrollment is not complete until your documents are reviewed and approved by District staff.

Finalizing Enrollment

Once approved, you will receive a welcome email from noreply@friscoisd.org with:

  • Instructions to activate your Parent Portal

  • Your child’s student ID number

  • Additional resources
