2024-25 New Student Enrollment
Frisco ISD serves students who live within the District's
attendance zone in Frisco, Plano, McKinney and Little Elm. Your child must live in Frisco ISD to attend FISD
schools.
Online Registration Form
Step One: Navigate to the PowerSchool Enrollment form by clicking the link below.
Step Two: Select “Create Account” on the left. Enter your email address, name and phone number and create a password for your account. Remember your account's email address and password; you will use the same email and password in future years.
Step Three: You will be prompted to enter basic information regarding your child.
You will receive a confirmation email once you have completed the online registration form and uploaded the required documents. However, enrollment is only complete once the documentation is reviewed and processed by District staff.
Gather Required Documents
Frisco ISD requires a parent or guardian to provide the following documents to
complete the registration process:
Review the documents accepted for proof of residency and double-check that your child's immunization records are up to date and reflect all the requirements of the state of Texas, which may vary from other states and countries.
If a language other than English is spoken most of the time in your home and
by your child, you will be contacted by your child’s campus to schedule an assessment date to
determine your student's eligibility for the appropriate language program: bilingual education or
English as a Second Language (ESL).
Finalize the Enrollment Process
All submitted information and documents will be reviewed. Frisco ISD will process new student registration in the order in which submissions were received. Once the student’s registration is processed and approved, the parent/guardian will receive a welcome email with instructions regarding activating their Portal account and other information, including the student ID number from noreply@friscoisd.org.

Middle and High School Students
Secondary counselors or a counseling representative will contact middle and high school parents to facilitate the course selection process based on transcripts or report cards from the
student’s previous school. New middle school students are asked to review and complete the course planning document for the appropriate grade level to aid in this process. High school students and parents are encouraged to review the High School Academic Guide and Course Catalog to see all the course
offerings available before meeting with the counselor.

What if I've already finished the PowerSchool Enrollment form, but I need to update my information?
You may continue to update the online form until the campus approves the form. If you need to make changes after the form has been approved, please contact your campus. The campus will reset the form so you can make changes.
