To generate awareness among stakeholders by sharing the story of Frisco ISD. Cultivating these relationships will create informed citizens who can help advance higher levels of communication and engagement among families, citizens and the school district.
Classes will be held approximately once a month at Frisco ISD facilities from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Various FISD school and business operations will be discussed. The group will visit campuses and non-educational facilities, including athletics, maintenance, nutrition, transportation and the Administration Building. Participants may not miss more than one class to complete the program.

August 30, 2024, Session 1: Teaching and Learning with a District Overview
September 20, 2024, Session 2: CTE, Technology and Guidance & Counseling
October 10, 2024, Session 3: Administration – Communications, Community Relations, HR, Finance, Legal
October 25, 2024, Session 4: Student Services – Fine Arts and Athletics
November 15, 2024, Session 5: Operations
December 9, 2024, 6:30 p.m. Attend school board meeting and class recognitions
The cost of the program is $20 and will be collected at the first class.
