Stakeholder input plays a vital role as we continue to shape and strengthen the practices, policies, and education provided to our students and community. The District Advisory Council (DAC) has been restructured and is now a collection of all Frisco ISD committee members who serve in an advisory capacity to the FISD School Board and district leadership. DAC members support their respective committees by reviewing and offering feedback on key district-wide initiatives, educational goals, performance objectives, instructional programs, student support services, and compliance-related matters.
In addition to committee service, DAC members will have opportunities to contribute to the development of FISD’s strategic plan and engage in learning experiences related to various district operations.
The application window for District Advisory Council committees is now open to staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders. Availability for each committee varies, so applicants are encouraged to apply for all committees that align with their interests.
