Media plays a vital role in sharing important information during emergency situations, and Frisco ISD values this partnership. However, our top priority is always the safety and communication needs of our immediate community. In the event of an emergency, the District will first connect with families, staff, and students before responding to media inquiries.
As provided by the Texas Public Information Act, all public information requests must be made in writing through the FISD Open Records Request process.
Please note: Frisco ISD will not release private student information protected by state law and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The District will not respond to any requests for that information except to reiterate the above. That includes but is not limited to: academic, disciplinary, attendance and health records.
