Dual Credit at CTE

Frisco ISD partners with Collin College to offer dual credit opportunities within the Career & Technical Education programs. Some of the CTE Dual Credit courses are taught at the Frisco ISD CTE Center and some will be taught at the Collin College Technical Campus located in Allen.

Dual Credit courses allow students to be dually enrolled in an institution of higher education while enrolled in high school. Dual credit courses are taught and graded by college or university professors. The grades earned from dual credit courses will be posted on both the student’s college transcript and the high school transcript.  There are tuition fees associated with dual credit courses that vary depending on the university or college.
