Programs of Study
Frisco Independent School District CTE Programs provides an extensive selection of over 25 programs of study, including diverse fields such as health science, information technology, business, as well as agriculture & construction. These programs are available to students who attend any of the 12 high schools within the district. As part of their academic journey, high school students primarily take introductory classes and core subjects at their respective home campus. However, they are also presented with the valuable opportunity to engage in advanced courses offered at the esteemed FISD CTE Center.

Endorsements and CTE Completers
Students earn one or more of five endorsements as part of their high school graduation requirements. An endorsement consists of a sequence of courses that are grouped together by interest or occupational skill. They provide students with in-depth knowledge of a subject area of interest. Every Career And Technical Education (CTE) Program of Study offers an opportunity for the student to be designated a CTE completer, which always leads to an endorsement. The state of Texas defines a CTE Completer as a student who completes, passes, and receives credit for three or more high school CTE courses for four or more credits, including at least one level 3 or level 4 course, from within the same program of study.
