Mission Statement: To create and foster a supportive environment utilizing technology and synchronous learning that allows students to engage in meaningful instruction, explore challenges and problem-solve, and enrich their social and emotional capacity.

Secondary Summer School provides learning opportunities for FISD students entering grades 9-12 in the 2020-21 school year, as well as Out-of-District students, who need to take courses for credit recovery or wish to do so for advancement. Frisco ISD also provides students in grades 6-8 with options for credit recovery in Math, English, Science and Social Studies.

2020 FISD Secondary Summer School

  • The purpose of e3Learning is to provide students with opportunities to master the objectives and TEKS of the course they are taking.All courses will be delivered using the Edgenuity, Proximity, or Canvas online platforms allowing lessons to be accessed from home computers and devices.  View Courses Offered for the 2020 summer school Session.


    Middle School:
    Synchronous learning -morning meetings scheduled by teacher
    SEL and activities provided by counselors and teachers    

    High School:
    Asynchronous learning
    SEL provided by SSC’s (Student Support Coordinator)
  • Summer School Session
    June 8 - First day of summer school
    July 2 - Last day of summer school
  • Virtual Office/Lab Hours
    Virtual Office/Lab Hours will be  staffed by FISD teachers and available to students at the following times:

    Middle School: Monday -Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. 
    High School:  Monday -Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.
  • Attendance / Final Exams
    Students enrolled in e3Learning courses must complete all modules and complete and pass their final exam/project assessments in the allotted time. These courses will be available on students’ home computers and devices. Exams may be taken as soon as coursework is completed, and there is no requirement to wait until the last day; however, all coursework and exams must be completed by July 2.
  • Middle School Cost: $200 per course
    High School Cost: $225 per semester course
    PSAT, SAT, ACT, TSI Prep Courses: $50 for the entire bundle

    Financial assistance is available for those taking courses for remediation or credit recovery who qualify for free or reduced lunch. 
  • Registration and payment will begin May 4 and closes June 4. Registration information webinars will be on the following dates:
