Secondary Summer School

Mission Statement: To create and foster a supportive environment through exploratory learning experiences that promote academic growth and allows students to engage in meaningful instruction and build their social and emotional capacity.
FISD Secondary Summer School provides learning opportunities for students both in and out of Frisco ISD. We serve FISD students in grades 7-12 and students outside of the district in grades 9-11. We offer credit recovery for all served grade levels and advancement for all high school students. Please look over the course offerings for grade level specifications.
2023 FISD Secondary Summer School

The purpose of summer school is to provide students with opportunities to master the objectives and TEKS of the course they are taking. All courses will be delivered using the Edgenuity or Canvas online platforms allowing lessons to be accessed from home computers and devices.
Middle School:
Synchronous learning -morning meetings scheduled by teacher
High School:
Asynchronous learning with Synchronous tutorials held in the morning and evening hours
**For the FISD Class of 2023, Summer School credit recovery courses will be factored into a student's GPA. And, starting with the Class of 2024, all Summer School courses will be factored in to a student's GPA.

$100 - Reduced Lunch per course
$50 - Free Lunch per course
High School Cost
$225 - per semester
$100 - Reduced Lunch per semester

$250 - Out-of-district Students per semester
