Secondary Summer School

2026 FISD Secondary Summer School

  • The purpose of summer school is to provide students with opportunities to master the objectives and TEKS of the course they are taking. All courses will be delivered using the Edgenuity or Canvas online platforms allowing lessons to be accessed from home computers and devices.  

    Middle School:
    Synchronous learning - morning sessions scheduled by the teacher     

    High School:
    Asynchronous learning with Synchronous tutorials held in the morning and evening hours.
    All Summer School courses will be factored in to a student's GPA.

    June 1 - First day of summer school
    June 25 - Last day of summer school
  • Middle School Cost
    $250 - per course
    $100 - Reduced Lunch per course
    $50 - Free Lunch per course

    High School Cost
    $275 - per semester
    $100 - Reduced Lunch per semester
    $50 - Free Lunch per semester
    $300 - Out-of-district Students per semester
