Educator Preparation Program (EPP) Placement Request Process

Please review the guidelines below in full prior to starting the placement request. Note: Students should coordinate with their affiliated program to express interest in clinical teaching or field-based experiences in Frisco ISD. Direct contact with campuses is discouraged. For placement requests, please complete the steps below:

Step One: Request

The Educator Preparation Program (EPP) is responsible for completing this sheet and submitting it via email to Human Resources (HR) to formally request placement for field-based or clinical experiences (e.g., clinical teaching or long-term reflective [classroom] observations).

Step Two: Fingerprinting

• EPP ensures students will complete the fingerprint-based background check form to qualify for placement in Frisco ISD.

• Students will receive an email from IdentoGo with appointment scheduling after submitting the form.

Step Three: District ID Badge

Each student must submit a headshot by completing this form. The photo should:

• Have a solid, neutral background.

• Show a clear, front-facing view cropped above the shoulders.

• Appear professional (self-taken photos are acceptable).

Step Four: Placement & Orientation

• Human Resources will assign all clinical teachers and long-term reflective [classroom] observers based on availability.

• While preferences and special requests will be considered, placement cannot be guaranteed.

• Attendance at orientation is mandatory for all student teachers.
