Annual Registration Process
Frisco ISD uses PowerSchool Registration to update information on students returning to our schools each year. By replacing previous paper practices with an online process, the District is reducing paper waste, improving accuracy, increasing efficiency and saving parents time. Guardians will still need to contact the campus at the end of the year to confirm the student is no longer attending Frisco ISD.
Based upon the primary student contact listed in the FISD student information system, the parent or guardian will receive a separate email for each individual student with online registration instructions and a unique snapcode that is needed to begin the online registration process for that student. If you are the parent or guardian of multiple students, you will not receive all of these snapcode emails at the same time. If the email of the primary contact has changed, please email ISRegistration@friscoisd.org with the student’s name, campus and ID as well as your name. Additionally, the secondary student contact will receive an email if the form has not been submitted within 30 days of the request made to the primary student contact for registration submission.
Invitations to register for the 2021-22 school year will go out May 5-11 to parents and guardians of students enrolled in FISD prior to April 9. Parents of students who enrolled after April 9 can expect to receive their invitation emails the week of June 7.
At the end of the online process, parents are required to provide an electronic signature. Should parents desire the option to provide a handwritten signature instead, they may contact their student's campus to do so.
Additional Registration Requirements
By law, parents must also provide updated immunization records (if necessary) before school begins in order to attend class regardless of the learning environment (virtual or face-to face). View immunization requirements.
FISD also requires families provide proof of residency each year in order to complete the student enrollment and registration process. View the proof of residency requirements and submission process.

Yes, please use PowerSchool Registration to indicate that your child will not return to Frisco ISD next school year. You will have the opportunity to indicate this at the very beginning of the process. You will then be prompted to enter basic information regarding where you plan to move (if available). This information is helpful to FISD in forwarding student records and also assists the District in planning for staffing needs.
Frisco ISD understands that future plans aren’t always clear. If you are unsure whether your child will return to Frisco ISD next school year, please go ahead and complete the PowerSchool Registration process as though your child will return. If your family moves, the District will un-enroll your student if he or she does not show up for class on the first day of school.
If you have transferred to a new school or moved schools for another reason, please go ahead and complete the online registration process for your old campus. Contact the new campus in August for further instructions.
Please download the Statement of Residence Form. Fill out the form, have it notarized, and bring it to your campus along with a proof of residence for the house or apartment you are living in.
If you have already submitted your registration, you'll need to fill out the Change of Information Form in order to make any changes. Download the form and submit it to your child's school.
