Students applying to Frisco Flex must complete an application and meet eligibility requirements established by the State of Texas and Frisco ISD.
Must be a Texas resident at the time of application
Must provide proof of residency, such as:
Utility bill (gas, electric, or water) dated within the last 60 days
Mortgage statement from the last 60 days or a current lease agreement
(Applicable only to students applying for a full-time virtual schedule) A student may enroll if one of the following applies:
Enrolled in a Texas public school for at least 6 weeks in the current or previous year
Was not required to attend a Texas public school in the previous year due to living out of state
Was placed in substitute care in Texas
Is a dependent of a U.S. military member deployed outside of Texas
Note: Students who do not meet these requirements may still qualify to enroll as full-time, tuition-based students if additional criteria are met.
Must be eligible to enroll in grades 9–12
Must provide an official birth certificate to verify age
Demonstrates passing grades in on/above grade level core subjects
Demonstrates grade level performance on standardized assessments
Maintains regular attendance with no more than 10 unexcused absences in the current school year
No expulsions, DAEP or JJAEP placements, or persistent behavioral concerns in the previous year
No discipline referrals related to misuse of technology
Parent or guardian must provide a valid photo ID (drivers license, state-issued ID, or passport).
