A La Carte Courses

(1–3 Virtual Classes | Free)

Frisco Flex à la carte courses are individual online classes taught by certified Frisco ISD teachers. These courses give students more options to explore interests, earn additional credit, or take classes that may not be available at their current school.

Current Frisco ISD students may take 1 to 3 à la carte courses at no cost as part of their graduation-required coursework during the regular school day. Students attending a private school, another public school district, or participating in a homeschool program may enroll in Frisco Flex à la carte courses on a fee-based basis. Current Frisco ISD students who wish to take a ninth course may also enroll for a per-course fee.

A La Carte Pricing and Eligibility

Frisco Flex à la carte pricing is based on how a student is enrolled and how the course fits into their academic schedule.

How This Differs from RAIL

Unlike RAIL, which offers independent, self-paced online courses primarily for acceleration or credit recovery, Frisco Flex A La Carte courses follow the district calendar and provide ongoing teacher interaction and support. These courses are part of a student’s regular schedule and are taught by the same certified Frisco ISD teachers who lead classes on campus.
