What We Do
The purpose of the Frisco ISD Government Affairs Department is to manage the district’s non-operational interactions with government officials, to monitor government proposals to determine the potential impact on Frisco ISD, and to engage with the Frisco ISD community to encourage active participation in the processes of local, state, and federal governments.
This purpose is accomplished through the development and implementation of a proactive legislative action and engagement plan and by maintaining strong working relationships between Frisco ISD and government entities such as other school districts, the Texas Legislature, the Texas Education Agency, the U.S. Department of Education, and the U.S. Congress.
