Based on community feedback, the District is changing the format and location of the Dec. 7 Inside Scoop. District leaders will forgo the planned presentation and will instead provide community members a forum to ask questions of the leaders that are present. Each community stakeholders will be provided two minutes to provide constructive input and ask questions. Following the meeting and within three business days, community questions and answers will be provided on this page.

Inside Scoop

Do you like to be in the know? Want to have the “inside scoop” on what’s happening in Frisco ISD? Parents and guardians are invited to attend a series of informational events regarding FISD programs, initiatives and other topics facing District leadership.

Each session of the Inside Scoop will include a presentation on a topic of particular interest to FISD parents and community members. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mike Waldrip, a member of the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees and other District leaders will be on hand to provide insight and answer questions.

The time and format of the events, formerly called Coffee Talks, has evolved over time. Initially held exclusively in the mornings, some of the events are now held in the evenings to allow greater flexibility for parents to attend.
