Children who live within Frisco ISD and qualify for special education services can begin at the Early Childhood School as early as their 3rd birthday.

The Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities is offered to students aged three through five at the Frisco ISD Early Childhood School. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in all phases of the educational process. Instruction is based on an individual education plan that is determined after evaluation has been completed. There may be several instructional personnel working together for the benefit of the student. These staff members may include, but are not limited to, an educational diagnostician, speech pathologist, nurse, special education teacher, instructional aide, occupational and/or physical therapist. PPCD placement is based on evaluation, eligibility and the student’s IEP.

If you think your child might have a disability and meet the eligibility criteria, please contact the Early Childhood School at 469.633.3825 or email earlychildhood@friscoisd.org.
