FEF Scholarships

$8.7 million and counting...

The Frisco Education Foundation Scholarship Program offers Frisco ISD graduating high school seniors the opportunity to apply for college scholarships offered through the Foundation. In addition to scholarships funded by the Foundation, the Foundation prides itself in serving as the catalyst for outside donors to award scholarships to FISD graduating high school seniors in the name of their corporation, organization, school/youth group or in memory/honor of an individual.

Scholarships range in value and awards are submitted directly to the college or university of the student’s choice. Frisco ISD graduating seniors must submit an application to be considered for the scholarships, which are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, volunteer efforts and other criteria designated by donors. Since 1999, FEF has awarded more than $8.7 million in college scholarships to more than 7,900 graduating seniors, thanks to the generosity of Foundation supporters and outside scholarship donors.

Class of 2022 Application

  • The FEF Scholarship Application closed to applicants on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 4 p.m.  

2022 FEF Scholarship Event

2022 Scholarship Recipients receiving scholarships through FEF received their invitation to the scholarship event on May 20 by email to the email address the applicant provided in their FEF Scholarship Application. 

Outside Scholarships

Xello_tileFrisco ISD students may access additional outside scholarships by going through the student portal and selecting the "Xello" tile. Once logged into Xello, click on "College Planning" under Goals and Plans. Select "search for local scholarships" under Local Scholarships. 

2022 Nancy Lieberman Charities Educational Scholarship

  • This year in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, they will be awarding all their scholarships to female high school seniors who participate in JV or Varsity athletics, who excel in academics, and have made a positive impact in their community. Apply by May 20, 2022.

FBSA (Frisco Baseball and Softball Association) Scholarship

  • FBSA will award one baseball and one softball scholarship for each FISD High School. Apply by 8 p.m. on May 22, 2022.

Sgt. Johnny Robertson Scholarship

  • This scholarship is open to Marines, Marine Veterans honorably discharged, FMF Corpsmen, or the children/descendants of Marines or FMF that reside in Collin County. Apply by June 10, 2022.

FBI Dallas Citizens Academy Alumni Association Scholarship

  • This scholarship is offered to current high school seniors, college freshman or college sophomores, who are in good academic standing, demonstrate leadership, community service, are of good character, and interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement/criminal justice.  Apply by July 22, 2022.
