Gold Card for Senior Citizens

The purpose of the Gold Card is to honor senior citizens for being dedicated supporters in our community. It enables them to attend most school district activities free of charge. These school activities include home athletic games and fine arts events.

The Gold Card is intended to recognize senior citizens for being partners with the school district. Frisco ISD's philosophy of smaller school enrollments has created increased opportunities for students. In 2017-18, the District has nine high schools and 16 middle schools hosting athletics and fine arts events year-round. Frisco ISD encourages senior citizens to support our athletic and fine arts programs!

Gold Cards are distributed to each individual. It is possible that one spouse may qualify for the Gold Card and the other spouse may not qualify. Please see qualifying guidelines below:

  • 60 years or older

  • Live in Frisco ISD or the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and have a connection to FISD (i.e. grandchild enrolled in the District)

Employees who have retired from Frisco ISD and are not yet 60 years of age are also eligible.

Yes. Gold Cards are accepted at Memorial Stadium, Ford Center and Toyota Stadium for Frisco ISD events only.

Yes. There are some events that will not honor the Gold Card or will have restrictions. For example, they may not be accepted in certain rounds of the playoffs in specific sports. Playoff games are contractually agreed upon by multiple entities out of Frisco ISD's control.

High school theatre programs present musicals on numerous dates and times. Schools may designate specific shows where Gold Card members will have reserved VIP seating available only to card holders.

Information regarding any restrictions will be emailed to Gold Card members at the beginning of each month. 

Seniors can pick up a Gold Card at the Frisco ISD Administrative Building, 5515 Ohio Drive, or the Athletic Office, 6950 Stadium Lane.

Frisco ISD needs a record of your email address. Your email address will only be used for Frisco ISD communications regarding athletic and fine arts activities. An eNewsletter will be emailed either the first day of the month or the first Monday of the month. The eNewsletter will contain highlights from the previous month and current news and information about upcoming events.
