Gold Card for Senior Citizens

The purpose of the Gold Card is to honor our senior citizens for being dedicated supporters in our community. It enables them to attend most school district actives free of charge. These school activities include home athletic games and fine arts events.

For your convenience, this web page contains links to both athletic and fine art calendars as well as frequently asked questions pertaining to the eligibility and use of Gold Card.  The athletics and fine art calendars can be found on the links below:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The Gold Card is intended to recognize our senior citizens for being partners with the school district. Frisco ISD's philosophy of creating a smaller school enrollment has created increased opportunities for our students. With that philosophy in mind, there are nine (9) high schools and sixteen (16) middle schools with athletics and fine art programs year round. If senior citizens are looking for a good value (free) and would like to support the athletics and fine art programs, know that there is an open invitation.

Gold Cards are distributed to each individual. It is possible that one spouse may qualify for the Gold Card and the other spouse may not qualify. Please see qualifying guidelines below:

  • 55 years or older

  • Have a connection to Frisco ISD (i.e. grandchild enrolled in district)

  • Lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex.

Teachers who have retired from Frisco ISD and are not yet 55 years of age are eligible.

That information will be emailed during the monthly e-newsletter for Gold Card Members at the first of each month.

Gold Cards may be obtained and registered at the Frisco ISD Administrative Office, which is located at 5515 Ohio Drive, or the Athletic Administration Office located at 6942 Stadium Lane.

Frisco ISD needs a record of your email address.  Your email address will only be used for Frisco ISD to send you Gold Card specific information through an e-newsletter.  The e-newsletter will be emailed either the first day of the month or the first Monday of the month.  The e-newsletter will contain previous months' highlights, current news, and upcoming events with athletics and fine arts.
