Frisco ISD’s FFA students made an impressive showing at FFA Leadership Development Events this fall.
Students from the Heritage and Reedy FFA chapters advanced to state after placing first at the district level and first at area. Heritage’s Natalia Tenze Ramirez took fourth at state in Senior Spanish Creed Speaking, a year after taking 10th in the same category.
At Leadership Development Events, students must demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Events reinforce the learning that goes on in agricultural science classrooms.
