BAND
The Independence Band Family believes in developing dedicated, selfless, responsible members of society who strive to reach their maximum potential by representing the Knight Band with integrity and pride.
IHS CHOIR
The Independence High School Choral Department opened in the fall of 2014 with 18 students enrolled in two choirs. It has grown into a department of about 180 singers in eight groups who perform and compete around Frisco, the state of Texas, and around the country. We emphasize a broad range of musical styles from around the world and focus on the essential musical elements of a thorough music education.
KNIGHT THEATRE
The award-winning Knight Theatre has many course offereing to take part in, e.g. theatre I, theatre II, tech theatre I and II, and much more.
DRILL TEAM/ROYALS
The Royals were established in 2014 . The Royals demonstrate exceptional teamwork, dance technique and school spirit while maintaining active involvement in the community. The Royals perform at school football games, basketball games and pep rallies. In addition, they also compete and appear in national, regional and local contests and events. The Royals year culminates with their Spring Show.
