Welcome BACK to Mrs. Dancy! She shares: Hey Seahawks! I am so excited to be back with my Scoggins Family as your School Counselor after spending the last 3 years opening Wortham Intermediate! It's going to be a fabulous year together! Until then I'll be relaxing poolside with my husband & 4 kids with an iced latte in one hand & a good book in the other!

Next up is Ms. Canoy! Hello, Scoggins! My name is Eunice Canoy, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team as the new SPED Coach. I love collaborating with teachers, advocating for students, and creating opportunities for growth. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Happy Summer, Seahawks! We have a few new staff joining our team and look forward to introducing them to you. First up is Mrs. Johnson! Hi, Seahawks! I'm Jalanii Johnson, your new Librarian. I am excited to help students discover new stories, explore their interests, and build a lifelong love of reading. My husband and I have three kiddos who keep life fun and busy. Fun fact: I love planning family adventures and road trips. Looking forward to a great year at SMS!

Our 8th Grade ILA students are currently presenting "how to" presentations to their peers. Today Mrs. Schulte stepped into serve as a hair demonstration model for "how to curl hair." Didn't the students do a great job?!
