🎉 Two Grants, Endless Possibilities! 🎉

Help us celebrate Mrs. Topp for being awarded TWO grants through the Frisco Education Foundation! What an incredible investment in our students and their love of learning! 💜

Through Crack the Code: Engaging Students Through Breakout EDU, students will become problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and collaborators as they tackle interactive puzzles and hands-on challenges that reinforce TEKS-aligned skills in an exciting new way! 🔐

With Finding Your Next Read: Books Within Reach, our library's nonfiction section will get a fresh, student-friendly makeover! By organizing books into easy-to-browse genres and categories, students will be empowered to independently explore their interests, discover new topics, and find their next great read! 📚

We are so grateful to the Frisco Education Foundation for making innovative learning opportunities possible and so proud of Mrs. Topp for her dedication to creating meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity, engagement, and a lifelong love of learning!

Over 4,500 Frisco ISD elementary students signed up for the recent 21-Day Snacking Challenge, part of the Kids Teaching Kids program created by Medical City Healthcare. As part of Kids Teaching Kids, high school students use what they’re learning in the classroom to create healthy recipes, educational videos and wellness resources to teach younger students about nutrition and healthy lifestyles. For the snacking challenge, families are surveyed about their child’s snacking habits both before and after the 21-day period, with results provided to the District. A special thank you to the elementary PE teachers who bring this program to life at their schools!

Title 1 Virtual Meeting - Wednesday, September 30 at 6:30pm

Staff, students, parents and community members selected to serve on District committees for the 2026-27 school year were notified this week following approval by the Board of Trustees at its regular September meeting. Each committee is part of the larger District Advisory Council, which provides feedback to the Board on District initiatives, goals, programs and compliance-related matters. The District is grateful for everyone who volunteered their time and interest to serve.

  • Calendar Committee: As work begins on the 2027-28 instructional calendar, Frisco ISD is first soliciting stakeholder feedback to guide the District’s calendar committee. The 2027-28 Instructional Calendar Survey is open Sept. 17-Oct. 2. Access the survey.

  • Bond Planning Committee: FISD is exploring a possible spring 2027 bond, starting with formation of a Bond Planning Committee. Applications are open through Friday, Sept. 25. Apply online.
