Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Wren is a graduate of Louisiana State University and brings a positive spirit and enthusiasm to our campus. Outside of school, she enjoys attending Zach Bryan concerts and has a special love for animals. Originally from Southern California, Jamie has called Texas home for the past 35 years and proudly considers herself a Texan. She attended Grayson County College and brings a passion for caring for others to our campus. Outside of work, Jamie loves to travel and hike and has visited 27 National Parks! One of her greatest adventures was completing the 500-mile Camino de Santiago across Spain. Her favorite quote, “Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.” — Dalai Lama, reflects the positive spirit she brings to those around her. We're excited to have Jamie caring for our students and staff and are thrilled to welcome her to the Phillips family!

Please join us in welcoming Araceli Angulo to the Phillips Elementary family! Araceli joins our team as a Special Education Aide in Functional Academics (FA) and is originally from Lewisville, Texas. She earned her Associate's Degree from North Central Texas College and is excited to support and encourage our students each day. In her free time, Araceli loves planning trips and vacations, creating detailed itineraries, and discovering new places to explore. She's also a huge animal lover and enjoys spending time with her family's cat, Olaf. Her favorite quote, "Always aim to treat others even better than how you would like to be treated!" perfectly reflects the kindness and compassion she brings to our Phillips community. We're so excited to have Araceli join our team!

Please join us in welcoming Ryan Moore to the Phillips Elementary family as our new Resource Teacher! Ryan brings 23 years of experience in education and a passion for helping students succeed through special education. Originally from northwest Oklahoma, he earned two degrees from Northeastern State University, where he was also a member of two National Championship football teams. After serving as a Special Education Specialist, Ryan is excited to return to the classroom and work directly with students. Fun fact—his wife is a teacher at Phillips, and both of their daughters will be students here this year, making this a true family affair! Another unique fact: Ryan spent four years working in a Level I Trauma Emergency Room before returning to education. His favorite quote, "I never lose. I win or learn." — Nelson Mandela, reflects his positive outlook and growth mindset. We're thrilled to have Ryan join the Phillips family and can't wait for the impact he'll make this year!

Adam brings 22 years of experience in education and has earned degrees from the University of Missouri, the University of New Mexico, and the University of North Texas. He is the proud father of three amazing sons, two of whom attend UNT, while his youngest is in 6th grade. Outside of school, Adam enjoys playing and watching sports, as well as attending live music concerts. His favorite quote, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin – reflects his passion for engaging students and staff in meaningful learning. Adam is excited to be part of the learning, success, and growth of the Phillips family, and we're thrilled to have him on our administrative team!

Phillips Elementary is excited to welcome Andrea Schoenholtz to our First Grade team! Andrea attended Murray State College, the University of the Ozarks, and Oklahoma State University. During her college years, she was a softball player and later worked as a group fitness instructor. Her favorite quote, “Work hard. Be kind. Be happy.” reflects the positive mindset and dedication she brings to our campus.

Welcome, Becky Martin! Phillips Elementary is thrilled to have Becky join our team as our new Instructional Coach. A graduate of Texas Woman's University, Becky brings enthusiasm, experience, and a commitment to helping others grow. Fun facts: she has a Golden Retriever named Indigo and worked as a rock-climbing instructor in college. Her favorite quote is, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
