Originally from Southern California, Jamie has called Texas home for the past 35 years and proudly considers herself a Texan. She attended Grayson County College and brings a passion for caring for others to our campus. Outside of work, Jamie loves to travel and hike and has visited 27 National Parks! Ryan brings 23 years of experience in education and a passion for helping students succeed through special education. Originally from northwest Oklahoma, he earned two degrees from Northeastern State University, where he was also a member of two National Championship football teams. After serving as a Special Education Specialist, Ryan is excited to return to the classroom and work directly with students. Fun fact—his wife is a teacher at Phillips, and both of their daughters will be students here this year, making this a true family affair! Another unique fact: Ryan spent four years working in a Level I Trauma Emergency Room before returning to education. His favorite quote, "I never lose. I win or learn." — Nelson Mandela, reflects his positive outlook and growth mindset. We're thrilled to have Ryan join the Phillips family and can't wait for the impact he'll make this year!
