Congratulations to Frisco ISD FCCLA students on their strong showing at this summer’s National Leadership Conference, where four students medaled.

The Family Career Community Leaders of America is one of several career and technical student organizations that Frisco ISD students can take part in, learning skills they can bring to competitions. In FCCLA, students develop creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge and career preparation.

FISD students qualified for nationals by placing at the state level, with eight advancing to the summer competition in Washington, D.C.

During their time in D.C., students also had a chance to tour the U.S. Capitol, led by the staff of Rep. Pat Fallon’s office.

A special thanks goes out to FCCLA sponsors, as well as those who supported these students on their academic journey.
