Hi! My name is Rita Rivera, and I am excited to be joining the Special Education team this year!
Many of you may already know me from my years at Carroll as a 4th-grade bilingual teacher and tutor. I have 18 years of experience in education and am passionate about helping students grow and succeed.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. My son, Ivan, is 27 years old and is a middle school teacher. My daughter, Ana Sofia, is 23 and will be getting married next year! Our family also includes one dog, Kanelo, and four cats who keep life interesting and fun.
Carroll has always felt like home to me, and I truly missed being here full-time. I am thrilled to be back!
I look forward to partnering with students, families, and colleagues to help every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. It is a privilege to be part of each student's learning journey, and I am excited for a wonderful school year ahead!

Muchos de ustedes ya me conocen por mis años en Carroll como maestra bilingüe de cuarto grado y tutora. Cuento con 18 años de experiencia en la educación y me apasiona ayudar a los estudiantes a crecer y alcanzar el éxito.
Cuando no estoy en la escuela, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia y mis mascotas. Mi hijo, Iván, tiene 27 años y es maestro de secundaria. Mi hija, Ana Sofía, tiene 23 años y ¡se casará el próximo año! Nuestra familia también incluye a nuestro perro, Kanelo, y cuatro gatos que mantienen nuestra vida divertida e interesante.
Carroll siempre se ha sentido como mi hogar, y realmente extrañaba estar aquí a tiempo completo. ¡Estoy muy feliz de regresar!
Espero colaborar con los estudiantes, las familias y mis colegas para ayudar a cada niño a crecer académica, social y emocionalmente. Es un privilegio formar parte del proceso de aprendizaje de cada estudiante y estoy emocionada por tener un maravilloso año escolar.

Hi! I’m Lexi Levine. I graduated from UNT in Dec. 2025 with my dual Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood-6th Generalist and Early Childhood-12th Special Education. I am passionate about working with students and I’m excited to join the Carroll family because I want to help students reach their full potential. When I am not at school I love spending time with my pets! Baxter (Bax) my dog and Nugget (Nugz) my cat. I am a huge sports fanatic! I Love tennis, College & Pro football. I used to play sports as well and I love fantasy football. I love to read or listen to audiobooks. I usually read or listen to fantasy books. I also like musicals and movies.

Hello Carroll family! I am absolutely thrilled to be joining you this year. I bring 18 wonderful years of teaching experience from Garland ISD, and I am so happy to now call Frisco my home after moving here this summer! Family is everything to me—I have two amazing boys: Adan, who is currently thriving at UNT, and Alex, who is about to start his own new adventure at Cobb Middle School. I can't wait to get to know all of the incredible students and families here at Carroll. Let’s make it a fantastic year together!

Hi! My name is Elena Martos and I am thrilled to be joining Carroll as a 1st Grade Bilingual Teacher. I am originally from Spain and have dedicated more than 10 years to teaching in the Dallas area.
Working with young children is truly my passion. I love helping students grow in confidence, discover new ideas, and develop a love of learning in both English and Spanish. I am especially excited to be part of a community that values bilingualism and cultural diversity.
When I am not teaching, you can usually find me reading a good book or enjoying a great cup of coffee. I can't wait to meet my students and families and begin this exciting new chapter at Carroll!
