Frisco ISD theater students earned their place in the spotlight at the recent Texas Thespians State Festival at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine.
They competed in multiple solo and group events with a chance to qualify for the National Festival and earned several awards at the event. Frisco High School was named a Gold Honor Troupe, and Frisco students earned first place in state in several categories.
Texas Thespians is the largest chapter in the nation of the Educational Theatre Association, which sponsors the International Thespian Society. These organizations assist with the training and development of young artists.
Congratulations to these students who were recognized at the event and qualified for Nationals!
