Frisco ISD celebrates 59 outstanding students who have achieved the highest honor a high school musician can receive — a place in a TMEA All-State ensemble.
Over 70,000 choir, orchestra and band students across the state of Texas began the All-State process last fall with All-Region auditions. Over a thousand Frisco ISD high schoolers auditioned at the region level, with over 700 advancing in the process.
Those selected for All-State will perform in 18 elite ensembles at the TMEA Clinic and Convention in February. Also performing at the conference will be the Lawler Symphony Orchestra, named the 2026 TMEA Middle School Honor Full Orchestra.
The Texas Music Educators Association sponsors the All-State audition process to promote students’ dedication to their musical knowledge and skill and to encourage educators to support their students in this development.
