Frisco ISD’s FFA students put the District on the map at the Texas FFA Association’s Leadership Development Event last month.
Students from the Heritage, Memorial and Reedy FFA chapters advanced to state after placing first or second at the district level, and then first or second at area. A total of 24 teams competed in Greenhand Quiz and 24 individual students in Spanish Creed at the state contest.
At Leadership Development Events, students must demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Events reinforce the learning that goes on in agricultural science classrooms.
Congrats to these students who competed at state!
