Six students will represent Frisco ISD at the Collin County Spelling Bee in February.
Every year, FISD campuses host spelling bees to determine which students will participate in the District-wide bee in January. From there, FISD’s top spellers go on to compete in the Collin County bee.
This year’s District-wide competition was held at Panther Creek High School and featured 56 third- through eighth-grade spellers from across FISD. The bee lasted an intense nine rounds, at the end of which six spellers were left standing. They will compete at the Collin County Spelling Bee on Feb. 6 at Walnut Grove High School in Prosper.
