H-E-B Donates $10,000 To Frisco Education Foundation
H-E-B donated $10,000 to the Frisco Education Foundation at a recent FC Dallas match versus Real Salt Lake. The Frisco Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that works with the school district and Frisco area community to enhance the educational opportunities of FISD students. Thank you to FC Dallas and
H-E-B for hosting a Nonprofit Night which highlighted organizations across North Texas who focus on improving our community in a variety of ways.
Student Presented with Team Behind the Team Scholarship
Congratulations to seniors across Frisco ISD who are and will be recipients of the Frisco Bowl Team Behind the Team Scholarship Award presented by Town and Country Roofing. The first recipient this year was Heritage High School’s Josh Snow. He is
a team manager of the football program and was awarded a $750 scholarship at this past weekend’s football game.
Donation Received for United States Motto Signs
Thanks to an anonymous donation, Frisco ISD will distribute United States motto signs to all campuses for display. According to Senate Bill 797,
public elementary or secondary schools must display in a conspicuous place the United States national motto, "In God We Trust."
Expanded Police Presence Featured by WFAA
Frisco Police Officer Will Lo and Boals Elementary were featured by WFAA in a story that spotlighted
the expanded SRO presence at FISD elementary schools. Officer Lo is the former SRO for Lebanon Trail High School and is an SRO rover on the west side of the school district.

The artwork of more than 15 Frisco ISD award-winning visual artists is currently on display at the Arlington ISD Visual and Performing Arts Center. Congrats to these students who were awarded Gold Seals through the Texas Art Education Association State VASE competition.
