The University Interscholastic League has existed since 1910 to provide educational extracurricular academic, athletic and music contests to students across Texas.
This year, several Frisco ISD students qualified for the State Academic UIL competition that took place at The University of Texas at Austin. The UIL is the largest inter-school organization of its kind in the world and students who achieve through its contests are true standouts in their respective studies.
Notably, students were honored at the June School Board meeting with a resolution acknowledging the number of hours, dedication and hard work that went into earning individual and team awards at the UIL Academic State Competition.
Congratulations to all of these students who placed in the UIL Academics Spring Meet and whose self-motivation and intellectual curiosity are clearly keys to their success!
