Several Frisco ISD students competed at the HOSA National Leadership Conference this summer and seven students were recognized at the event. This year’s theme was
“Unlock Your Potential” which encouraged students to remember that everyone has the power to succeed.
HOSA-Future Health Professionals, formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), is a national student organization that prepares students to enter the healthcare field.
The organization provides opportunities for health science education students to develop technical and leadership skills through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition.
Students compete in a variety of events to test their knowledge of the medical field and build communication and critical thinking skills.
