Pranavi Reddi is a senior at Centennial High School who has been recognized for her social action with The Diana Award. The award was established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, and is given out by the charity of the same name and has the support of both her sons, The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex.
Diana Award recipients represent some of the most inspirational young people from around the world. Reddi is one of 300 recognized for her ability to inspire and mobilize others to serve their communities and create long-lasting change on a large scale.
“I am so honored and grateful to receive the Diana Award and represent Frisco ISD and Centennial High School on an international level,” Reddi said.
Reddi is making a difference in the Frisco community through Kindness4All, a nonprofit organization she started with her sister Shreelakshya Reddi of Lawler Middle School. Kindness4All aims to give back to the community through acts of kindness.
Through monetary and in-kind donations that totaled more than $50,000 last year, the organization purchased and donated 7,000 books to Frisco ISD’s 10 Title One campuses in the 2020-21 school year.
“I have always been passionate about the importance and power of kindness,” Reddi said. “I believe that a single act of kindness has the potential to create a ripple effect of positivity, compassion and joy throughout the world.
“What starts as a small act has the potential to positively impact countless lives while creating a continuous cycle of generosity, peace and fulfillment.”
Reddi was nominated for The Diana Award and demonstrated key facets of the award’s mission, including: Vision, Social Impact, Inspiring Others, Youth Leadership and Service Journey.
Congratulations to Reddi and Kindness4All for their continued impact on the community!
