Pearson and Fowler Staff Recognized for their Dedication

Dec 17, 2019

2019 November Standing Ovation Award Winners at Board Meeting_cEach month, Frisco ISD recognizes two employees with the Standing Ovation Award. The District-wide award identifies non-teaching staff members who serve the mission of knowing every student by name and need while going above and beyond the call of duty.

Standing Ovation Award candidates are nominated by their peers and exhibit a positive attitude while serving as a role model for others. The nominated staff take the initiative and carry out responsibilities beyond their job requirements.

Congratulations to the November winners of the Standing Ovation Award.

Jason Kepler, Pearson Middle School

Jason Kepler is a paraprofessional at Pearson Middle School who supports all students on the campus. Current and former parents and students recognize him for his presence at every campus event and even high school events to support former Pearson students. Kepler builds strong relationships with his students through a structured classroom environment and tireless loyalty. He impacts the quality of intervention and programming instruction at Pearson, and the staff is thankful for his dedication.

Boogie Lammes, Fowler Middle School

Boogie Lammes is a secretary at Fowler Middle School who always stops what she is doing to help others be more successful at their job. She is known to act without being asked - finding solutions to problems quickly. She honors the time of all staff members and does whatever it takes to make their lives easier. She volunteers her time to support students and staff and is often found at school events. Lammes is a servant leader and a quiet force on the campus. Her actions speak volumes and there is nothing that goes on at the campus that she is not involved in. Fowler is thankful for her continued support.

Recipients were recognized at the December 9 School Board meeting with a commemorative trophy.
