Seniors Encouraged to Apply for FEF Scholarships

The Frisco Education Foundation (FEF) scholarship application is currently open through Friday, December 20, 2019, at 4 p.m.

For 20 years, the Frisco Education Foundation has existed solely to benefit the students and staff of Frisco Independent School District.

Each year, the FEF provides financial resources to maximize student potential in the District through educational programs, student scholarships and grants for innovative educators.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, volunteer efforts and other criteria designated by donors. Awards range in value and are submitted directly to the college or university of the student’s choice.

Last year, the Foundation awarded $689,896 in scholarships to over 700 students. Since 1999, FEF has awarded more than $7.2 million in college scholarships to more than 6,300 graduating seniors.

Award winners should plan to attend the annual Frisco Education Foundation Scholarship Night on May 20 at Comerica Center, a memorable evening that celebrates Frisco ISD’s seniors.
