Four students have been selected to have their artwork featured on the 2020 Arts in the Square poster, the eleventh year for the poster competition promoting the annual fine arts festival held in Frisco Square.
The annual Arts in the Square brings together fine arts and crafts one weekend each spring in celebration of fine arts binding the community.
Every year, students from Frisco ISD participate in four categories according to grade level, K-12. A jury then selects a winner in each of the four categories.
Congratulations to the following students whose artwork was selected to be featured on the 2020 Arts in the Square poster!
Presley Cobb, Pearson Middle School, Teacher Michelle McClendon
Kayal Kayaroganam, Pearson Middle School, Teacher Michelle McClendon
Sophia-Drew Mercer, Rogers Elementary School, Teacher Michelle Smith
Sajani Silla, Reedy High School, Teacher Katie Gallimore
These four art pieces will be represented on the final poster designed by a graphic design and illustration student from the Frisco ISD Career and Technical Education Center to be unveiled in the spring.
Each year, Frisco Square transforms into an outdoor fine arts and crafts gallery, so be sure to mark your calendar for March 28-29, 2020. The Frisco ISD fine arts students will be featured on Saturday, March 28 to showcase their many talents for the community.
