Lebanon Trail at Area Competition.

Congratulations to the marching bands from Lebanon Trail, Lone Star and Wakeland high schools who will compete at the UIL State Marching Band Contest in San Antonio next Monday and Tuesday.

This year, the UIL Area B Marching Contest advanced four bands to state. Three of those advancing to the state competition are from Frisco ISD, an outstanding accomplishment.

All 10 Frisco ISD high school bands competed at the UIL Area B Marching Contest in Little Elm for the chance to compete at the Alamodome.

Frisco ISD schools competed against top 5A bands from Denton, Lake Dallas, Lewisville, Little Elm, Lovejoy, Princeton, Northwest, Sherman and Wylie ISDs for advancement to the State Marching Contest.

Seven FISD marching bands advanced to Area B finals including Centennial, Heritage, Independence, Lebanon Trail, Lone Star, Reedy and Wakeland high schools.

All of the Frisco ISD marching band shows are incredible, which made for a very tough competition in the Area B Marching Contest.

Those interested in traveling to cheer on the bands in San Antonio can find the schedule and ticketing information here. Best of luck to Lebanon Trail, Lone Star and Wakeland at state!
