FISD Players Present Flag at Cowboys Game

Frisco ISD football players from all 10 high schools were on the field at AT&T Stadium on Sunday as part of pregame festivities before the Cowboys-Packers game. One hundred senior FISD Players carried the flag out on their shoulders and then unfurled it on the field for the presentation of the national anthem in front of more than 90,000 fans.

The FISD players were also on the field at halftime when former Cowboys vice president of player personnel Gil Brandt was honored. The former Cowboys executive is a member of the Cowboys' Ring of Honor and the NFL Hall of Fame.

The opportunity for the football players was created by FISD's partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, who this year are celebrating the NFL's 100th season. The Cowboys are finding multiple ways to include FISD football players in the celebration.
