School Groups Invited to Participate in Community Parade

Sep 27, 2018

School groups are invited to showcase their school spirit and celebrate community pride by participating in the upcoming Frisco Community Parade on Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon.

This year's parade theme is "Every Hero Has a Story" and all floats/trailers are encouraged to incorporate this theme into their designs. School spirit themes are also encouraged. Winning float entries will have scholarships donated in their names to the Frisco Education Foundation scholarship program. There is no registration fee for school groups.

The Frisco Community Parade is a collaboration between the City of Frisco, Frisco Independent School District, Frisco Chamber of Commerce and the Frisco Veterans Advisory Committee. Parade attractions include Frisco fire and police vehicles, the Frisco fire clowns, the homecoming/forthcoming royalty of high schools, team mascots, representatives of Frisco’s professional sports teams and floats and marchers from various civic and youth groups.

Register or volunteer for the parade at For questions, please reach out to Morgan Yarnik, FISD event specialist at or 469.633.6861.
