FISD Middle School Athletes Break Records at District Meet

Frisco ISD athletes set meet records in nearly two dozen events at the FISD Middle School District Track and Field Meet on Monday at Memorial Stadium.

In the team competition, the Stafford girls won in seventh grade and Maus won in eighth grade. In the boys competition, Nelson took the title in seventh grade and Vandeventer won in eighth grade.

The athletes and relay teams who set records include:


800 meters: Autumn Webb, Trent, 2:32.65

4x100 relay: Stafford (Tiera Standberry, Lauren Lewis, Wynter Jones, Amani Mason), 52.17

4x200 relay: Scoggins (Jakayla Clay, Shelby Grider, Kaylee Smith, Isabella Copeland), 1:52.22

High jump: Halle Schroder, Pioneer, 4-10 (tied record)

Pole vault: Madison Frankeberger, Maus, 7-6 (tied record)


4x100 relay: Trent (Gabby Miller, Kayla Johnson, Jasmyn Lott, Kailee Deffebaugh), 50.75

Triple jump: Charli Foreman, Maus, 35-04.75

Shot put: Tatum Wright, Wester, 38-8


400 meters: Clayton Boren, Griffin, 56.15

110 hurdles: Kennedy McDowell, Staley, 16.65

300 hurdles: David Walker, Nelson, 43.71

High jump: David Walker, Nelson, 5-9

Long jump: Keldric Luster, Vandeventer, 18-3


400 meters: Owen Peck, Trent, 53.31

800 meters: Preston Urbine, Vandeventer, 2:04.47

1,600 meters: Kevin Curry, Staley, 4:51.88

2,400 meters: Kevin Curry, Staley, 7:31.52

4x200 relay: Maus (Noah Billings, Charles Cooper, Zachary Veverka, Shawnon Wara), 1:37.07

Long jump: Ronald De Madet, Staley, 19-3

Shot put: Alex Shirley, Griffin, 42-11.25

Discus: Zachary Veverka, Maus, 145-8.5
