Frisco ISD to Host Tour for Residents Aged 55 and Older

Mar 16, 2017

Frisco ISD is excited to invite residents aged 55 and older to participate in the 4th Annual Senior Bus Tour on Wednesday, April 5.

The event is open to all citizens – retirees, grandparents, newcomers or just any interested FISD taxpayer.

“This is an audience that may not be connected to our schools, or have even stepped inside a classroom in many years,” said Chris Moore, executive director of communications and community relations for Frisco ISD. “This is an opportunity for them to experience our schools first-hand and learn about District operations and the opportunities we offer students.”

The bus tour will depart at 9 a.m. from the Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive in Frisco, before traveling to three schools – an elementary, middle and high school. Participants will stop by several classrooms and visit with students and staff.

Seniors should be comfortable with a fair amount of walking. Lunch will be provided. The tour is expected to conclude by 2:30 p.m.

Please RSVP to Audie Adkins at or 469.633.6866 by Thursday, March 31 if you’d like to participate, or please share this information with others who may be interested.

The event is made possible through the support of sponsor Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union.
