Family Career Community Leaders of America has experienced amazing growth in Frisco ISD during the 2022-23 school year. Along with Centennial, Lebanon Trail and Liberty, the District welcomes new FCCLA chapters from Emerson and Wakeland.

Recently, more than 50 Frisco ISD FCCLA students participated in the Region III Leadership Conference with fantastic results.

For the first time ever, all competitors from Centennial, Lebanon Trail and Wakeland high schools qualified for state competition! In addition, Liberty High School and Emerson High School also had a majority of their competitors qualify for state.

The students are led by several accomplished advisors including Centennial’s Shirah Martinez, Emerson’s Katey De La Cruz, Lebanon Trail’s Aneesha Jackson and Michelle Fiszer, Liberty’s Kristi Swinnea and Lisa Frizzel, and Wakeland’s Sharlene Sabonis.

Congratulations to all students and their advisors as they celebrate their hard work and prepare for the next stage of the competition.
