The annual student registration process is underway, both for new students and those returning to FISD schools in the 2021-22 school year.
Parents of students who attended Frisco ISD in the 2020-21 school year should have received email invitations with unique snapcodes to update their student’s information for the new school year. The District asks that parents complete this online process, regardless of whether their child plans to attend FISD schools in the coming year.
New families are invited to enroll at any time over the summer or throughout the new school year, but are encouraged to do so as soon as they have a utility bill, lease or closing papers at an address located in Frisco ISD.
In addition to completing the online registration form, annual proof of residency is required for all students, both new and returning. Parents are invited to submit this documentation online now.
Immunization records must also be up to date in order for students to start school. See the list of required immunizations.
Following the failure of the Texas Legislature to pass a bill this spring that would have expanded online learning in Texas and provided funding for full-time virtual students, Frisco ISD will only offer in-person learning at FISD campuses during the 2021-22 school year. The District has announced anticipated protocols related to COVID-19 as recovery from the pandemic continues.
Frisco ISD looks forward to welcoming all students back to campus starting with the first day of school on Thursday, August 12.
