Ryan Solano, currently the associate principal at Lebanon Trail High School, has been named principal of Panther Creek High School.
Solano said he is thrilled about this opportunity and will spend this next school year helping with the final phases of construction and planning for the successful opening of Panther Creek in the fall of 2022.
The twelfth FISD campus will open with students in grades 9-11 adjacent to the future PGA headquarters in the northwest corner of the District. With the addition of this campus, Frisco ISD will be able to continue its student opportunity model, keeping high schools at an enrollment level where more students have the opportunity to be successful and involved with their campus.
The attendance zone for the campus will be established this fall as the District continues its student opportunity model, keeping high schools at an enrollment level where more students have the opportunity to be successful and involved with their campus.
“Soon, Panther Creek will bring students, parents and the community together to create a new culture and traditions based on what they want the school to be about,” said Principal Solano. “I look forward to all of the great things we will accomplish as we prepare students for the futures that they will create.”
Solano joined Frisco ISD in 2016 as an assistant principal at Independence High School. Prior to joining FISD, he worked as a teacher for 14 years in Texas and California. His bachelor’s degree is from California State University, Chico and master’s degree is from Lamar University.
Congratulations to Solano as he begins his journey as the first principal of Panther Creek High School.
