The sign-up form is now available to pick up meals at no cost for the third nine weeks of school.
Enrolled Frisco ISD students participating in Virtual Academy and non-Frisco ISD students and children 18 years old and younger are eligible to participate. Five days’ worth of breakfast and lunch are distributed once a week at one of the District’s drive-thru locations.
Weekly distribution of to-go meals is every Thursday. The first pickup of the third nine weeks is Jan. 7. The last pickup for families signed up for the second nine weeks is Dec. 17. There will be no meal pickup Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 while schools are closed for Winter Break.
Because students have the option to switch to on-campus instruction after each grading period, families who have been participating and wish to continue to pick up meals must complete a separate sign-up form for each grading period. Sign up here to receive free to-go meals the third nine weeks.
Participating parents are reminded to exercise caution when picking up meals, as all schools have students on campus. The school drop-off speed limit of 5 miles per hour should be observed at all times. Additionally, parents are asked to arrive for pickup only during the set hours so as not to interfere with the morning arrival of on-campus students.
Children must either be present or student ID numbers or proof of guardianship is required at meal pickup. List all student names and ID numbers on a piece of paper and place them on the passenger side's dash for the Child Nutrition employee to identify the student(s). You can either open your trunk for the café staff to place the meals or roll down your window once the café staff has the meals ready on the tray for you to take. If you choose to roll down your window to retrieve meals or communicate with staff, please remember to wear a mask or face covering.
Students attending face-to-face instruction receive their free meals at the campus when they select a complete meal, which includes a fruit or vegetable. Per USDA regulations, each student/child is allowed only one free breakfast and one lunch per day, so to-go meals may not be picked up by parents of students who are already receiving free meals in the school cafeteria.
