The sign-up form is now available to pick-up meals at no cost for the second nine weeks of school, Oct. 19 - Dec. 18.
Frisco ISD is providing free breakfast and lunch “to go” upon request thanks to a USDA waiver, which was recently extended through the end of the 2020-21 school year.
Enrolled Frisco ISD students participating in Virtual Academy and non-Frisco ISD children 18 years old and younger are eligible to participate. Five days’ worth of breakfast and lunch are distributed once a week at one of the District’s drive-thru locations. Sign up here.
Students attending face-to-face instruction receive their free meals at the campus when they select a complete meal, which includes a fruit or vegetable. Per USDA regulations, each student/child is allowed only one free breakfast and one lunch per day, so to-go meals may not be picked up by parents of students who are already receiving free meals in the school cafeteria.
Weekly distribution of to-go meals is every Thursday. Following additional waiver approval, a third pick-up location is available on the west side of the District starting Oct. 22. Times are specific to each site, and please note the pick-up time at Early Childhood School has changed:
8:30-9:30 AM: Early Childhood School, 10330 Red Cedar Drive, Frisco, TX, 75035
9-10 AM: Clark Middle School, 4600 Colby Drive, Frisco, TX, 75035
9-10 AM: Cobb Middle School, 9400 Teel Parkway, Frisco, TX, 75033
Participating parents are reminded to exercise caution when picking up meals, as all schools have students on campus. The school drop-off speed limit of 5 miles per hour should be observed at all times. Additionally, parents are asked to arrive for pick-up only during the set hours so as not to interfere with the morning arrival of on-campus students.
