Centennial Student to Present in College Station

Congratulations to Athul Mohanaram, a freshman at Centennial High School, who was named a top 300 finalist in Broadcom National Masters this summer. Broadcom Masters is the nation’s premier science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) competition for middle school students. He will present his project “Drug Dosages and Variations in Genetic Metabolism” at the Texas Junior Academy of Science at Texas A&M this week.

Cobb Students to Decorate Ornaments for Bush Center

The George W. Bush Presidential Center has invited Cobb Middle School students to participate in Holidays at the Bush Center through their ornament decorations. The theme is Christmas at the White House 2007: Holiday in the National Parks. Students will have their ornaments displayed on the courtyard Christmas tree during the holidays.

Independence Royals Dance with Heart

Congratulations to Marina Cassidy and the Independence High School Royals dance team who were featured by NBC 5 in their Wake Up to #SomethingGood segment. They were recognized for their community outreach and volunteer work with the Boys and Girls Club of Collin County. Keep up the great work! Check it out here.
