Frisco ISD parents will have the option to make free online payments via electronic check for meals and other campus and classroom fees in the coming school year.
The District is moving to two separate systems – SchoolCafé for meals and OnlineSchoolFees for other payments such as those for specific programs, courses, activities and more.
FISD has always provided a free in-person payment option and will continue to do so, but the online systems provide added convenience.
Payments can be made via computer in both systems. On mobile phones, parents can use the SchoolCafé mobile app or phone web browser for OnlineSchoolFees.
Payments via electronic check will be free. There will continue to be a processing fee for credit and debit card transactions in both systems, but the 3.5% fee is lower than the District’s previous payment provider.
In addition to meal payments, SchoolCafé will also host breakfast and lunch menus, nutrition information and the application for free and reduced meals. Parents will also be able to manage balances, as well as their student’s purchase restrictions and preferences online or via the SchoolCafé mobile app.
If your child is returning to Frisco ISD and had a cafeteria balance at the end of the 2018-19 school year, that balance has been automatically transferred to SchoolCafé.
